Food at the Old Minister's Guest House

We have an exceptional natural larder on our doorstep, and we know that our fresh produce and unique Scottish dishes are highly anticipated by our visitors. It is up to us to use Scotland's natural larder in our cooking, working collaboratively with suppliers, food producers and other local businesses to ensure that we protect the sustainability of our beautiful country and offer the very best food and drink experience at our tables.

Breakfast

Breakfast is cooked to order, using local produce where possible. Please see the breakfast menu and descriptions of origin of each ingredients. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 9.30am and at the weekends, from 8.30am to 10.00am. Other times can be possible by arrangement.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please mention this at the time of booking and we will do our best to assist you.

Dinner

There is the opportunity for you to enjoy dinner at The Old Minister's Guest House, as well as breakfast!

The menu is dependent on what local fresh ingredients, of the highest quality, are available and guests dietary needs or preferences. Please see the menu example, which will give you an idea of the sort of dinner you will enjoy.

A 3-course dinner, including tea and coffee back in the sitting room, by the log burning stove, is just £29.50 per person.

The Old Minister's Guest House is available for exclusive use for self-catering

All 5 en-suite rooms, guest sitting room, dining room, laundry room, boot and drying room and kitchen are included. During the festive period the house will be decorated.

My house keeper is included for: meet and greet, changing of bed linen and towels, light housekeeping, departure.

Minimum stay 3 nights. Oil, electricity, logs, water, linen and towels are all included
